CODACA, a leading magnetics supplier, has expanded its CPEX Series ultra high current power inductors with the new CPEX5051DL and CPEX5051DS series, developed for industrial control, DC-DC converters, renewable energy storage systems, and automotive electronics. These inductors deliver high saturation current, low temperature rise, and low loss performance, enhancing power conversion efficiency in demanding applications.

The CPEX5051DL/DS series features flat wire winding and CODACA’s proprietary low loss magnetic powder core, offering extremely low DC resistance, low inductance loss, and high efficiency. Soft saturation characteristics and excellent DC bias capability allow the inductors to handle instantaneous peak currents, with saturation current up to 165 A and temperature rise current up to 114 A. Dual coil design maximizes current carrying capacity, meeting the size and power density requirements of high power components.
Operating reliably in temperatures from –55°C to +155°C, the series maintains stable saturation and temperature rise performance. The CPEX5051DL/DS series is part of the CPEX, which includes 25 series and over 150 standard products, with inductance ranging from 1.0 to 110 μH. Standard products reach 165 A saturation current, while customized designs can achieve up to 350 A. Package sizes range from 20.5 × 17.5 × 20.5 mm to 50.0 × 51.0 × 46.0 mm.
